Trying to decide your next holiday? Why not consider a singles ski holiday? If you are single or looking to travel solo, hitting the slopes for a week of fun in the snow could be the experience you are after. It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced skier or a beginner, solo ski holidays are amazing fun, linking you up with other singles for a holiday you will never forget. If you are starting to like the sound of it, read on to discover three great reasons to opt for a singles ski holiday.

Meet like-minded singles

One of the best reasons to opt for a singles ski holiday is the opportunity to meet like-minded solo travellers like yourself. Being up on the slopes in the beautiful chalets with other singles makes it easy to get introduced and make new friends. You will meet all sorts of people and perhaps even develop some relationships you will enjoy for life. You and your ski companions can enjoy the exhilaration of amazing ski runs, explore the incredible resort where you are located, and engage in interesting conversation with your new friends over dinner and drinks. If you’ve been looking to meet new people and get away from the world you know, a solo ski holiday is the perfect option.

Enjoy amazing ski chalets

Here at Friendship Travel, we are experts in amazing solos holidays, and we have some brilliant singles ski breaks available, with two new fully catered chalets in France for the ski season.

If you travel with us, you can pick between two amazing French ski resorts. There is the 3* plus Chalet Rostaing and Chalet Lucette, sitting side by side in the lovely Vaujany Alp D’Huez, a traditional French ski resort just next to Alpe d’Huez and just across from Les Deux Alpes. With 11 rooms, you can look forward to returning to these cosey chalets at the end of the day, with a TV lounge and wood fire, and a lovely space to enjoy your evening meal with the rest of the singles.

Another exclusive chalet to our ski programme is the 3* plus Chalet Ruby, a beautiful accommodation nestled in the oldest part of the lively resort of Les Deux Alpes. This former stone farm cottage is the ideal home base for your solo ski holiday, giving you convenient access to the whole resort, a spacious sitting room with a log fire, and an open-air jacuzzi on the chalet terrace – perfect for soothing aches and pains after a day on the slopes.

Learn a new skill or enjoy a favourite hobby

The beauty of a solo ski holiday is that it’s a trip that anyone can enjoy. If you are an experienced skier, you can enjoy a favourite hobby while making new friends, coming home with some great memories. But beginners shouldn’t be put off either, as you can learn how to ski during your holiday and come away with an amazing new skill that you can enjoy for many years to come. Our holidays offer ski lessons and provide beginners with spacious nursery slopes and easy runs to build up their confidence.

Whatever your level, you will be treated to amazing scenery, perfect ski conditions, equipment hire, great banter, friends to ski with, and a comfy place to rest your feet at the end of the day.
